Everyone has that cool aunt right?! The on that in the 80's let you blast Hot for Teacher while you were cruising down the turnpike, singing at the top of your lungs and playing air guitar. She went to Kent State during the race riots, believed in peace and love and loved her family above all others. That aunt - my favorite "adult" while I was growing up- died last year.

I was devastated. My mom's younger sister- gone in a blink of an eye. I've been going through the motions, not really "living" for the last 12 months or so. I know she wouldn't want this, she always saw the light, in even the darkest times. I didn't know what to do and still don't. That's when I had the idea for When My Time is Done. I wrote this for her. It is my gift to and for her - the kindest and most generous of souls. Aunt Jackie, I love you so very much! I will never forget you and everything you've done for me and our family. Wherever and whenever you are, I hope you can hear this...
